Today, I am thankful...
- for the cortisone shot my rheumatologist gave me in my elbow. I can actually move my arm now without feeling the urge to spout obscenities
- that Amy is feeling better from her cold (although she is feeling worse from the workout one of her students gave her yesterday at school)
- that Ashley slept straight through the night last night
- for Reese's chocolate covered peanut butter eggs
- for the daffodils that are sprouting in my yard
- for sons old enough to send on an errand on their bikes
- for little bitty teachers with huge hearts
- for March days so warm that the kids can wear shorts
- that Ashley tells me each morning while we wait for the bus that she hears the bird music
- for TIVO so I can watch American Idol and record Big Brother
Whoo! Yay for sleeping through the night! We're still working on that one. :)
ReplyDeletemommy~dearest, we also continue to work on it. Believe me, this is a very rare occurrence! And wuoldn't you know, on the nights she sleeps through, I worry so much that something is wrong, I am still getting up every couple of hours to check on her!
ReplyDeleteBird music. That is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteSleep has always been an issue here too. M could be awake for hours on end. Very tiring and very stressful.
