Hungry Children are Waiting

On September 22nd, I wrote about the American Express Members Project and their committment to fund needy and inspirational projects that will make a huge difference in the world.

The project about which I wrote was the International Medical Corps, "Saving the Lives of Malnourished Children". There were more than 87,000 votes cast and thanks to everyone who voted, that project, "Saving the Lives of Malnourished Children," is now in the Top 5 of the American Express Members Project. It got pretty close at the end and the International Medical Corps project only made it by 147 votes.

That project is now guaranteed at least $100,000 in funding, but still needs your help. The second round of voting has begun and the project with the most votes will receive $1.5 million. Your votes will determine how many lives the project can save. Please, let's keep this conversation going and the awareness out there.

Voting ends October 13th.
