Special Exposure Wednesday

We live on the wild side! How many families do you know that would give their blind child a hammer and nails?

Oh my goodness! When I first saw the picture before reading it I thought it was going to be "Special Exposure Wednesday" Goes to the Hospital!! It looked like the hammer was right in her eye, like a before picture!!! I'm glad it's just a craft day!!! *phew* :) Is she making a stand for her gorgeous glass work?? You'll have to spill!!!

Dalia, thankfully it wasn't a "before" picture :)

She was making a sailboat, but now I want a stand for the glass piece. That's a great idea!

I think that's awesome! And an inspiration to us all to do something unexpected with our children. Thanks for the reminder.

Well I think it is safe to say that it hadn't occurred to me to let my Ashlea play with a hammer and nails!!

That's a great picture. I'll be she loves her ship that she made by herself.

I agree we need to let our kids try new things that are a little on the wild side.

Broadening the horizons and not letting the words 'can't do' dictate what your child CAN do! Love it!
